Fantasy art and comics

Ages 15 and Up

Concept art is a visual representation that conveys a story or a specific look. It is commonly used in film and video games to convey a vision and set the tone for an entire game or movie. Concept art provides a strong reference point that helps align the creatives working on the project. [For beginners to advanced] Create the entire look, style and feel of a character from start to finish. Learn how the use of specific shapes adds to the impact on how the viewer will perceive them. Backgrounds are the stage where the action of your picture takes place. Learn the difference between a subjective and realistic background and how to design both. Learn to draw anatomically correct figures in exaggerated poses while adding your unique style. Master the skill of properly mixing reference images into a final painting in the medium of your choice.
