Founded in 1926, duCret is the oldest art school in New Jersey and has been a cornerstone of arts education for nearly a century. Located on a 5-acre campus adjacent to the Van Wyck Brooks Historical District in Plainfield, duCret offers a vibrant, inclusive environment where artists of all ages and backgrounds come to learn, create, and grow.

As we approach our 100th anniversary, we remain committed to cultivating artistic excellence and enriching the cultural life of our community.

Please Note:  Applicants must be available to teach evening and weekend classes, as many of our programs are scheduled outside of traditionals business hours to accommodate working adults and community members.
