Mixed Media Collage is a dynamic collage art class designed for adults interested in creative expression and storytelling through collage.

In this hands-on mixed media class, you’ll explore techniques such as cut and torn paper, painting, printmaking, texture, words, phrases, and symbolic imagery to create original works of art.

The first session introduces a wide range of mixed media collage techniques, incorporating color theory and design elements to inspire your creative process. In subsequent sessions, you’ll have the freedom to explore your own vision, whether building a vision board, experimenting with symbolic meaning, or simply enjoying the act of artistic exploration.

By the end of the course, you’ll complete one or more unique collages ready for display and discussion, while developing the tools to use collage as a medium for storytelling and self-expression.
