Introductory Course
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of ceramics? This hands-on class is designed for both beginners and those seeking a refresher.
Students will become familiar with clay: Its basic properties and what to expect when using the wheel. You will have the opportunity to use both an electric and kick wheel.
Students will work on projects based on their interests, using a step-by-step approach to the fundamentals of throwing. These include bowls, cups, pouring vessels, planters, and others.
Students will also be encouraged to experiment with both texture and glazing.
There is a $25.00 clay fee to be purchased on the first day of class.
For a more personalized learning experience, the class size is limited to just 6 students.
