Week 1 July 8th to July 12th:

“Exploring Nature’s Canvas”

Dive into the vibrant world of nature as we embark on a creative journey inspired by the beauty around us. From lush forests to colorful gardens, budding artists will explore various mediums such as watercolor, sketching, and collage to capture the essence of nature’s canvas. Through hands-on activities and outdoor adventures, campers will learn to see the world through an artistic lens, transforming their observations into stunning works of art.

 

Week 2 July 15th to July 19th:

“Fantasy Adventure: Unleash Your Imagination”

Embark on a fantastical adventure where imagination knows no bounds! From mythical creatures to enchanted landscapes, this week is all about bringing dreams to life through art. Campers will delve into the realms of fantasy, experimenting with mixed media, sculpture, and storytelling to create their own magical masterpieces. With every brushstroke and sculpting tool, young artists will explore the limitless possibilities of their imagination, crafting worlds filled with wonder and awe.

 

Week 3 July 22nd to July 26th:

“Art Around the World: A Global Expedition”

Pack your bags and get ready for a whirlwind tour of art from around the globe! This week, campers will explore diverse cultures and artistic traditions, drawing inspiration from different corners of the world. From Japanese origami to African mask-making, each day will unveil new techniques and styles for young artists to discover. Through hands-on projects and cultural activities, campers will gain a deeper appreciation for the rich tapestry of global artistry, fostering creativity and understanding across borders.

[8 – 11 YRS] Are you looking for a fun and educational activity for your child? Look no further! Our camp art classes for ages 8 to 11 are the perfect opportunity for kids to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills. Our experienced instructors will guide your child through a variety of projects, from drawing and painting to sculpture, ceramics, digital painting and mixed media. Not only will your child have a blast creating their own masterpieces, but they will also learn important skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and self-expression. [12 – 16 YRS] Are you looking for a unique and engaging way for your teenager to express themselves and develop their talents? Look no further than our Teen Summer Art Camp! The camp classes are specifically designed for students ages 12 to 16 and offer a wide range of mediums for your teenager to explore. From traditional techniques like drawing and painting to more contemporary mediums like digital art and printmaking, our experienced instructors will guide your teenager to develop their artistic skills, explore their creative potential and unleash their inner artist. They will be encouraged to think critically, problem-solve, and express themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Enroll your teenager today and give them the opportunity to explore their passion for art and build a strong foundation for their future endeavors.

Signing up for this course requires completing a registration form. When you click the “Click to Register” you will taken to registration form. When you complete that form you will then have the opportunity to pay for the course. If you have any problems please contact the duCret office at 908-757-7171 and someone can help you.

 

Summer Camp Policy:

Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel at least 3 weeks before the start of the Summer Camp Session will receive a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee per registration. No refunds will be given for cancellations received with less than 3 weeks’ notice before the start of the Summer Camp Session.

Summer Camp Late Pick-Up: duCret does not provide childcare. Children must be picked up promptly after camp.

Summer Camp Lunch Policy: Students must bring a lunch and beverage each day, which must be nut-free.  duCret will provide water.
