You Can Print That? – A One-Day Workshop in Untraditional Printing
Join us for an innovative, hands-on experience where everyday objects become extraordinary art! In this one-day workshop, you’ll explore the creative process of printing unconventional items using traditional hand-printing techniques and an etching press.
Workshop Highlights:
- Creative Exploration: Bring an unusual object from your home—anything from teddy bears and leaves to your favorite dress—and learn how to transform it into a unique one-color monotype print.
- Collaborative Printing: Work alongside fellow participants as we experiment with printing various objects, offering insights and tips to achieve successful prints.
- Preparation and Customization: To ensure the best possible outcome, please email your chosen object to info@ducretarts.org during registration. This helps us prepare the necessary materials and advise on any adjustments if needed.
- Size Limit: Please note that the maximum print size is 20×28″.
- Important Reminder: While we encourage creativity, please avoid sharp or jagged objects that might compromise the printing process or damage the paper.
