For beginners to advanced
Acrylic artist Jo-El Lopez will guide you step-by-step through use of acrylics.
Acrylics are versatile, odorless paints, simple to use and easy to clean up. Discover how to control the drying time with the opaque and glazing techniques used in oil painting. Also, learn to duplicate the transparent effects of watercolor. Basic color theory and elements of composition included. Use this approach for any subject matter from traditional to modern to fantasy paintings.
There are two sessions:
- Thursday afternoons: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
- Thursday evenings: 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
