Reversible Bucket Hat
This is for teens and adults at intermediate skill levels. Must have sewing experience.
Now that summer is nearly here a bucket hat is cute, practical, and this one is reversible. In this class you will learn how to cut out the pattern, sew straight and curved seams, top stitch, edge stitch, and pressing techniques. Great to make for yourself and family members. Pattern and instructions provided in class.
Supply list
- 3/8 yard of 45-60″ wide fabric for outer: quilt weight cotton, denim, canvas, cotton blend
- 3/8 yard of 45-60″ wide fabric for lining: quilt weight cotton print or solid
- One spool of all-purpose polyester thread to match or contrast seams and topstitching
- If using quilt-weight cotton for both the outside and lining or for a stiffer brim then get 3/8 yd of Pellon SF101 fusible interfacing or a fusible interfacing of your choice.
- Wash and dry the fabrics to pre-shrink
