Discover the art of woodblock printmaking in this exciting 6-hour workshop!
This hands-on experience is perfect for individuals learning about this traditional printmaking technique. Led by Mike Stark.
This advanced four session workshop will explore woodblock relief printmaking
using non-toxic Caligo ink to create reduction relief prints and multi-colored images.
Participants will learn multi-block registration techniques and how to implement
mark marking with untraditional carving tools. Some experience is recommended, but not
required.
You will learn about different techniques for creating depth, texture, and contrast in your prints and have the opportunity to experiment with different materials and tools.
By the end of the workshop, you will have created your own unique set of prints that you can take home with you.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced printmaker, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn about this fascinating art form and create something truly beautiful.
